Is This A Sativa

I grew this plant from bag seed. This is my first grow and I am guessing that is cannabis sativas. This plant and the others had a rough time of it in the beginning under my supervision which is why I went with bag seed in the first place. I could understand the stress making it look scrawny or the poor light make it stretchy, but the gaps of just stalk make it seem like sativa.

The second photo is a twin and seems more indica.

it's not a pure Sativa, it may have some in it but you can see a strong indica presents.

What are you seeing that is a strong indica?

The node spacing, ie all that stem, was light stretch, mostlikely. I agree it probably has some sativa in it, most likele not a pure one though. They get big~

hey your sativa( half) looks kinda like my sativa...

Did you determine the nute burn... on the ends of the leaves. Looks like my plant when I had chlorine burn from my tap water

Not quite nute burn lol :sad:

I had set up a five gallon bucket, pump, hose, and nozzle for easier feeding. I thoroughly cleaned but there must have been residue in the nozzle because the plant was on death's door the next day. I racked my brains a little and realized the last thing I had used the nozzle for was weed killer. Did I mention this was my first grow?

Here is a pic of what it looked like the day after. Keep in mind the height and structure were already in place. The biggest factor is that is was a short veg time full of nute and light problems.

what lights did you use, let me guess,,,,,,floro's, cfl's ?????
I would say you have a typical sativa/indica cross, in spite of the near death experience ,it looks healthy, stretching because of inadequate lighting. happy tokin

Yes, CFL's. I am up to 400W now, but it was a lot less and set higher up when I first started. My next grow will use adequate CFL for veg and HPS for flower. My biggest limiting factor is budget. I wanted my first grow to harvest knowledge and any weed would be a bonus. Looks like a couple ounces of bonus between the three plants.

Agreed. These are more slender than the others but not as slender as I have seen. I would say it is a hybrid. I will definitely clone and do a better job on the next grow and see what it produces.

thanks for the comments...
yeah i have been using tap water, looks like i will let it sit now....about 3 weeks into harvest...
and i have taken care of all the spots...
1/2 cap of fish emulsion......1/2 cap of seasol....mixed with 1.25L.....then diluted again into 500ml

MOST ALL BAG SEED IS GOING TO BE HYBRID STUFF, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT GROWS STRONG AND FAST, A QUICKER RETURN FOR THE GROWER. ONLY US GROWERS GET INTO THE EXOTIC STRAINS, GOOD FOR US !!!
IF YOU GROW NEXT TIME WITH THE 400 MH / HPS YOU WILL SEE A MUCH BETTER OUTCOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE ADJUST-A-WING REFLECTOR AND THE SUPER SPREADER, IT REALLY THROWS THE LIGHT AROUND AND YOU CAN GET THE BULB WITHIN 14 INCHES WITHOUT BURNING THE TOPS. :weed:

Yes.....I didn't look at his second picture with the leaves being much larger than in picture one...oops!
