Is this a MALE???

This is a 60 day old Hollands Hope..... Just put it into 12/12 3 days ago... saw these "balls" two weeks before i even started the 12/12... i took it out and isolated it, any input?



If it is a male how long till the sacs usually open and is there anyway to safely pollinate like one bud so that i can get a hollands hope cross with another plant or do i have to pollinate an entire plant. I only want to get like 2 seeds...

Yea i figured as much... i was pretty positive when i saw it on the stem, but i though you couldn't be positive until like a week into flowering...

I wouldn't cut it down just yet.

In my most recent grow I had an FI plant that had sex signs that looked just like that. In the same grow I had one confirmed male, and that one which looked diffrent. Usually males have more bulges then that and look kinda like grapes not just one ball.

Anyways I know the diffrence between male and female and I knew it didn't look like my confirmed male so I thought it was female. As it got bigger I thought it didn't look female either so I didn't know what to do.

After a while little white hairs started coming out of it and I'm about 4 weeks into flower and still no 'banana's'. I've been checking on it every day and it's starting to look more and more like a deformed female then a male. I'll get some pictures up soon. Might still be hermie but like I said is starting to look more like a deformed female.

eventually the 'ball' opened up like a flower and looks like multiple distinct female sexes coming out of it. sorry for the crappy picture, but I've only got a crappy camera.



I've had males before and like I said its never been just one ball, always bunches that look like grapes, then they open and little banana like things come out, open up and release the pollen.

Like I said I'm on about week 4 of flowering and have been checking everyday but no 'banana's' and as they get bigger the pre-flowers, instead of just being one female sex, look like several trying to occupy the same space. Could still turn out to be hermie but hoping not.

That was the only hollands hope i had.. but i have some female cheese and super silver haze from greenhouse seeds....


I really wanna try cross this hollands hope with a cheese plant since the cheese has a crazy stank to it so if anyone knows how to pollinate so you only get a couple controlled seeds or if this is even possible at all
