Can you still smoke a hermie?

Also sorry about your loss.

yes you can still smoke a Hermie

but there's two different kinds of hermies, one like his that starts from the beginning of floweirng

and one that turns hermie in like the last weeks of flowering due to some kind of stress and only pollinates just a little bit for only a couple of seeds

naturally the later of the two is the more potent smoke and the first kind will be ChUCK FULL O' SEEDS allong with pollinating any other plants in your grow room

I did the deed ..I executed her..heres some pics..R.I.P hermie:twisted:

so, those that turn hermie latterly in flowering are not going to produce enough pollen to polenate others is that right? I been struck I think 4 hermies in flower and was going in with new batch tonight!

not saying it cant happen, but if it turns only like 2 weeks before you cut then not that many sacks will get mature enough to drop there pollen, plus they would be deep down in the developing buds

just dont mess with hermies. A friend of mine had some and tried removing all the male flowers, but when he harvested his bud, he literally had 50 seeds in each nug. It was a disaster.

this was a late flowering hermie i picked it shortly after the male flowers popped and diddnt get the seeds it was still a little early to pick but it still smoked good and made some good bubble hash but unfortunately it pollinated the good females in my flower room and i had lots of seeds. now if i get a hermie i put em in another room or even better outside

Dutch masters also makes a product called reverse, but they're really only for use will stress induced hermies and in my understanding are not that effective with "genetic" lady-boys.
Good call on the murder, i've made the mistake of trying to clip off the male parts of a hermie and ended up polinating my whole flowering room turning a QP of fine bud into about 1000 useless tainted seeds.
Good luck and happy growing!

You did the right thing.

My cat loves them. She gets first crack at them before they go in the compost bin. Hermies make good compost.
