Is this a good idea?

Hello fellow growers,
I just found a small dresser that i am going to use as my flowering room in a couple of weeks when i will start taking clones from my mother plant. I plan on transplanting the clones in party cups and flowering right away. Would a party cup offer enough room for roots for the clone or do i need a bigger pot?

you could root a cutting in a party cup. You should keep light cycle 18/6 until it roots, however.
Then you can flower it.

Alright thanks for the help, about how long does it take to root before i should flower it?

You should have a nicely-rooted clone ready to flower in about 2 weeks.
