is this a fim or have i fucked up and my as well just top

so i cut the top new growth as you can see but have i cut to much and may as well remove the whole thing thanks every one

Should've only cut the middle thingy. It's not a fim and not a top, well technically it's a top, only you won't have 2 branches from where you cut, but 2 from the previous set of leaves and they will become the 2 main branches. You should probably just leave it and see for yourself.

Edit: I looked again, can't see reall but seems that it was fimmed actually, but you shouldn't have cut the 2 fan leaves. Anyways, just leave it alone.

thanks for the quick reply but where i cut it was just on or above the top of the new growth and yes there is a branch on the other side because the first cut i did i just cut the top of the fan leave off so wanted to cut a bit more off the branch thing on either side where you said will not grow are the stems from these fan leaves please reply on this comment

ok i kinda didn't understand what you said. You have fimmed. Fimming is cutting the main growth but not all of it, leaving a little
Topping is cutting all the main growth till it's only stem on the top and then the 2 side shoots will be the 2 main.
Everywhere between the fanleaf an the main stem grows a new shoot, they are small, but when you top the main shoot, it can't grow no more and the hormones are distributed to the closest ( well uncle ben could explain this better ) so the 2 side shoots start growing to be the two biggest.
What i see you did is, you have fimmed the main growth, cut off two fanleaves ( why? )
Now I don't see a problem, Yes, the two fan leaves will not grow but that doesn't really mattter, 2 leaves more or less won't affect your plant.
YOu should get multiple tops from the fimmed one, tho i'm not exactly sure how fimming works and what it does, it just happens like that, and probably noone here cna explain that, and that's why people usually top, because it's reliable and you know what will happen.
TL;DR: Everything's fine, wait a few days and look at the awesomeness.

they we're just tiny new fan leaves and i did read and watched some videos on you tube so i just did what it said said i just wanted another persons info on the matter just in case i mest up really bad

There's no way to mess up man. If you mess up a top, it becomes a fim (that's why it's called fuck i missed) If you mess up a fim, (idk how to mess that up ) The only way that you can mess up is if you cut the plant off at the base lol

You did a good FIM, just the way it is supposed to look. Only thing -- try to get a straight cut across the 3
parts getting cut. You have cut in the right place, just straighten it out a bit, eh?

thanks big steave so should i cut the stems from the fan leave straight or just leave it the way it is and not stress the plant again

yes, admin was messing around with the site the other day, putting up a firewall or some shit, and now there are a few issues that they're still working on ironing out, uploading pix being one of them..

What so there going to disallow posting images or are they just adding a new ways to add images or don't you know thanks for the reply racer boy
