Some of the buds look "a little" suspect. Pretty grey looking......
Any amonia smell?
Can you get a closer pic of the buds on the right, in the first photo?
Basement smell, doesnt sound good to me. Sounds damp and stale.
Get some better photos.
If you have a good scope, you can properly see the mold formation.
Hope it isnt mold.

it's dark green bud and it's got a mixture of green plant with a little sourness/fish tank taste when you taste your breath and seeds it has hints of glue and cookies when I pinch the nugs and a tiny hint of mildew after 7 days of drying still a little wet so idk what to do other than pitch the genetics and start new indicas anyone know a heavy yielding indica worth doing

checked the trichomes it's all cloudy but there's lots of em no amber it was picked at day 61. I had a in vent bringing hot michigan air coming in the room the plants were hanging is it dark green because it got picked too early or is it a drying issue. I had lots of leaves I didn't cut off maybe that's one of the reasons. had it hanging on hangers for 7 days and was still wet even with a in vent and 2 fans blowing around. It was grown in ocean forest and happy frog from foxfarm and it was fed only water throughout the whole grow, got very little yield - like a half o a bucket lol think it's because a blue cookie pheno had tons of seeds compared to the other plants so I think that one seeded the others will that affect the taste/development of the buds? this was a elev8 gorilla cookie hunt. sativa dominants, wish I did a indica hunt insteadSeems ok man.
Doesn't seem to be any mold.
Maybe try getting the humidity in your dry area a little lower?
Could be rotting a little, if its cold and damp?
Not really sure dude. Most of it looks fine to me.

It's because it is UNCURED BUD as why it tastes like shit ....
Drying your bud is one thing but still has chlorophyll which degrades OVER TIME.
You mentioned you pulled a week ago ...... So that why it tastes funky.

thank you for the input as I'm new to this type of stuff. do you know of any indica fast flowering strains that stay short and produce I don't think this strain yielded enough to be worth doing a 3rd time hopefully not all strains will produce little buds like this one. I did water only this time, last time I used nutes it was doing a sparking type of effect from the advanced nutrients bud candy, big bud and overdrive and the bud candy, snow storm and sugaree and the sound of sparking scared the shit outta me I had bigger buds but it wasn't smokable even with 2 week flush now it's little buds hahahaha I got the worst luck

Congratulations. As you keep growing you will get better and better results.
As far as strains you can make them as big and as fruitful as you want based on your advancing experience.
We all started from somewhere..... Fucked up plants , airy buds , bugs , nute burning , bad lighting , Bagseed, foil ( don't fo that ... Lol ) and other shit. Been there done that , I was a CFL guy once .... And actually got good at it . Went to T5 flouro lamps , Blurple shit , hid wing / cool tube , cobs and beyond.
You are your own worst critic.....
Growing to harvest is only part of the equation.... The proper dry AND CURE is where the benefits of your work will shine .... Whether small or big yield. If you get the bomb ass smoke at the end .... You nailed it.
Curing properly is another " get it right or shit weed " kind of experience ..... Most harvested weed ( if on track with the cure RH % ) then you will be able to get a good idea of the buds at around the 2 week Mark . There is where the Terpy profile will start to express and it gets better curing longer.

Uncured bud can be smoked as long as the triches were mature enough when pulled .
Curing will smooth the taste , less harsh and give better flavor. You will still get a certain amount of plant taste but it always gets better with age. I smoked a few cured / stored at 10 months , burned long and tasted great. It's the speed drying / cure that leaves a bit too be desired.
Once it is properly dried at least ... Most of the heavier WET GREEN taste is gone.
How about smoking the scissor hash ?
