I have a 250w hps light that had a built-in ballast.
Located in my small 2'x2'x5' Tent.
I did a remote ballast conversion and located the ballast
outside of my tent.
My tent is typically at 85F-90F average temps.
I obviously want to lower the temps, but I don't have much
of a budget to do so right now.
I currently have a 4" 175cfm fan exhausting into the attic.
But it's not doing a good enough cooling job.
So I plan to upgrade the fan when I can afford it.
I think that if I could incorporate cooling to the reflector hood, this would help.
The hood does not currently have
fittings on it for air cooling. At this time, I don't have
the money to buy an air cooled hood. Is there a way to adapt
air cooling to my non-air cooled hood?
Any other low-budget cooling ideas?
Thanx!
