or use only water, my wife thinks they dont have enough water and thats why their wilting and soft feeling, not firm. I dont know what to do.

Well here is my half a penny.

There is no perlite in that soil to help drainage. Next, you are most likely useing a soil which has time realease nutrients in it. To me those plants are not over watered,, they are over Nut'd. You need to get some better soil like Fox Farm, add about 30% perlite to it, then only water with ph'd water for a week or so. As they are now, they are die to get a drink. Then add a very light amount of nuts, and built it a little higher each week. You do have a PPM meter, right? What is your PPM before and after you mix your nuts?

Dark green curled leaves mean to much nuts.

But then again, I do not grow in soil.

P.S. Just say no to Miracle Grow.

well thank you so much guys!! I really appreciate your help and advice!! I took them over to the laundry tub and gave them all a good flush. I dont have a ph meter or ppm meter ( those will be on my list to get this week )
As for soil, are you reccomending transfering to bigger pots with different soil?? or are you saying next grow, use different soil???

DO NOT PH his water?? WTF!!!!! I do not care if I am growing space mushrooms on Mars with mercury for my medium. You need to check the ph you water with. What happens if he has very, very high ph where he lives? My tap water where I live is 7.8. Hmmmmm. lets see... As for the soil. What brand are you useing? and what is the PPM of your nutrients when you water? Hmmm, another mystery. Soil, dirt, Moon dust,, what ever you grow in. you need to know what is going on. You have to many mysteries. You do not know PH, you do not know PPM, we do not know soil type, amount of nuts, which kind of nuts. So how can anyone really know what this guy needs. I said what I think it is, and I am sticking to it. I bet he has miracle grow soil,, if not scotts, both with time released nuts for up to 3 month, and now he is loading on the who know what brand of nuts on top.

If you already mentioned these things in your thread, I am sorry. But I did not catch this information.

I have seen people go all way through veg stage with miracle grow, with out adding nutrients one dang time.

Hey Its true. No one know what soil you're using as well as what nutes you're using so no one can really give you a straight answer. Here is what I suggest for the future. Get GOOD NUTES! The kind from a hydroponic store. Do not use Miricle grow. It is made for real flowers, the kind your grandma loves with all that time release bullshit with it. If you must, then only use half of recomended dosage. VERY IMPORTANT: Even if you have to just water your plants, Add 10-20% of your usual dosage anyways. the idea here is that if you don't, your plant will get something called "nutrient lock" (This is similar to one of the problems why people can't loose their weight. Cut the fat from your diet, and if you have deregulated your bodys metabolism , ANY fat you introduce later, the body will be in a preservations mode and will store all that new fat away Because it thinks it might fall on hard times in the future and need that fat later). It sounds fucked but thats kinda how your plants work with their food. SO I always add a small amount of nutes even when my plants need to hold off of it. Hey I never had a problem yet. Now. Soil. I never bother with ph this ph that! BS. I learned from some pro growers that they don't give a fuck about PH. It sounds wierd but check this out: They grow in something called Promix BX, or promix HP. What is special about those two brands of soilless soil (and that what it is soilless) is that it will regulate the PH for you! Thats right. Give your girls your standard tap water and not give a fuck about PH, cause promix will regulate it. Remember it has to be the BX or HP. Anyways the watering should basically work like this: WET, DRY, WET DRY. Some plants will take up water differently but you should only water when the pot is lighter as opposed to heavier in weight, you have to determine that yourself, so stick your finger in that soil too. Keep lots of fresh air circulating at all times as this will most importantly encourage strong stems and good vent is allways very much needed for avoiding mould. Hey, I hope you're growing under a real light, that is a 1000 W bulb. See this, if you're you're in your vegetative stage you could probably use flourescent bulbs, whatever. Come time to start blooming and you need real power. All instructions on those real hydroponic nutes assume you're gonna grow your shit with a standard 1000W bulb, the problem here happens when you give your plants the food and there is simply not enough light for the plant to convert all that foor into its usable form, so if you're gonna be using a 400 w bulb for your grow room the cut your nute giving in half. Anyways I hope this helps you a bit, let me know how it turns out when you're trying some of this info.

Exactly why I stay away from soil for my weed. Different strocks for different folks. Weird though, I grow all kinds of other stuff in nothing but soil. hmmm go figure.

Well you nailed it, MG potting soil! NPK (.14-.14-.14) pretty minor npk but also using flora series nutes from GH (flora micro,flora grow,flora bloom) in very low doses though.
After the flush last night,they seemed to really bounce back, new fans have grown and the stalks feel much firmer already. On my next grow (or when I transfer) I will switch up to a new medium (foxfarm / promix / sunshine mix) whatever.
As for light since Ive only got a small box, (4'/3'/42" high) and only 10 plants, Im using a 250 MH for veggin, then I'll switch to a 250 w hps for flowering.
I am a little worried that my ph in my h2o is high so I might also get some reducer. I am also noticing that these plants/soil is getting extremely dry and needs to be watered fairly often, maybe what I'll do is have one water bucket with nutes and one with just plain water and I'll switch every other time I water, one day straight water, next time with nutes...etc.
I'll try to get some pics posted up tnight or tomorrow.
How will I know when I should transfer them???

Econo, in soil you should not have to feed your plants every watering.

When you get Foxfarm dirt, are you going to add some perlite to it. perlite is very cheap and really helps dirt drain better.

Econo, you want to know, how I figured out what soil you had and what you were doing? This is what I did wrong my first two trys with soil. Then I bought fox farm added some perlite, got some good nuts, and wallaa. I got a harvest. But Soil still was not my cup of tea with buds. I love my Hydroponics.

Those 250 watt lights should do ok. Are you going to get a PH meter? If you need to water once a day. I would only feed them twice a week, if that. But if that is true that you need to water them once a day, then your grow box must have very high temps. What is your tempurature range of you grow box? Do you have a high/low temp gauge, one that will tell you the range of temps that your grow box is going through. You have an inlet and and outlet fan on your box? Maybe also get a few of those little computer fans to help move air around your box.

thanx ldb, the temp is pretty hot in there, between 82-90*, I dont have an outake fan yet but its coming very soon (need to take care of that smell!!) , I will definatly cut down nutes too, once or twice a week max!!! I thought I could feed every time I water!! Big mistake!! There is nice new growth now and their lookin much healthier!! I'll post some pics.
