For now i have been using tapwater (bad) and letting it sit for a few days for my grow. I have a 3x3 botanicare table in rw that i flood 1 time every 24 hours. I can afford to let the water sit for a few days in spare res. The chlorine is high! I can smell it for days. The ppm is off the chart. I cannot imagine the town i live in having a good system in a place that is notrious for bad water pipes. Seriously my ppm meter must be broken, i read like 800! The ppm was only 20 dolllars though.

Anyway, i was surprised to see the price range of ro systems on ebay. I have pretty much that much to spend this month on grow shit. I am a med user so i on a budget. This is my favorite hobby right now as i have a hernia (no exercise, ladies) so i willing to upgrade. Just wondering if i should spend the money elsewhere. Save up for a ufo in the mother clone cab. Hehe, i am serious bout that after reading victor vicious.

I consider my little operation serious enough to justify the expenditure. Just dont want to waste any cash when the plants dont mind tapwater that has been sitting out for a while. One of those deals where if you got the cash burn it but the girls dont truly give a fuck.

any experience from when you got ro as opposed to dleaned tapwater?

I hope i dont sound crazy i am sure everyone i screaming buy the filter. Maybe someone could save me 140 bucks thoug, lol.:hump:

Water purification is actually easy and fairly inexpensive. I built my own water treatment system for the house using photo processor machine filters, diatomaceous earth, activated carbon and ion-exchange resins. It aint reverse osmosis, but it sure as hell purifies, and gets rid of particulate matter down to less than 1 micron. You could even go as far as a U/V sterilizer as well. It's basically the same set up as I used for my marine fish tanks.
Anyone interested, PM me and I'll send you the details.

Even if that 130 is euros, it's still a good deal. I have over twice that in mine, but then it serves the entire house. Good find!!!
