Is my plant doing alright? Noob alert...

Yeah so as the title states I'm a fat noob and I need a little help.
My two bagseed seedlings seem to be doing fine except for the new growth looking a little deformed and this weird brown coloration in the middle of the new growth centered right in the middle of the main shoot.

They are exactly 6 days old, I've been watering with tap water that has been set aside for a few days to evaporate some of the chemicals.
Watered every other day or until the soil is dry.
No nutrients yet.
4 23W 100W replacement CFLS
Some generic organic soil
72-76 degrees F always in between that range.
25-30% Humidity
The more sativa looking one (sharper jagged edges on the skinny leaves) is 2.5 inches tall and the more indica looking one (shorter fatter softer edged leaves) is about 1.5 inches tall.

like every walk in life...there are the good, the bad and the ugly.

You can learn a ton on this site and there will always be difference of opinion....some people get rather touchy about their point of view, but remember there is always a dozen ways to skin a cat.

Find what works best for you...keep it simple at first is my advise.

you're right on schedule for six days. welcome to riu: it's a great site with an unbelievable amount of knowledge here. also, a little really bad knowledge, but those are usually easily called out by another member. with your first grow don't do anything rash or rush into anything. u can always ask here and get at least several opinions if not many.
