Is My Mushroom Cake Growing?

hmmmmm....
1. make sure the relative humidity is ALWAYS at 95%-100%. and your temp anywhere between 70 degrees F - 78 degrees F.
2. are you using a shotgun terrarium? if not. please do. http://www.shroomery.org/10254/PF-TEK-Update-The-Shotgun-Terrarium
3. make sure you fan and mist it AT LEAST 3-4 times a day. (do this more if you have the time but make sure you balance the misting and fanning moderately)
4. what kind of light are you using and whats the timer set to? (12 hours on and 12 hours off is best results)

Will it grow from what you can see?

if you say its been over a week and there are no pins....you are doing something wrong.
-did you dunk the cake for 24 hours before you put it into the terrarium?
-the top of your terrarium is a plastic sheet....thats one thing that could screw up your relative humidity.
the terrarium needs to have holes on ALL sides of the terrarium. top, bottom and all four sides.
-do you even know what your relative humidity or even temperature is?
-are you misting and fanning 3-4 times a day?
