Is my Co2 set up harmful?

I have no time release or anything, just a bottle hanging in my closet with the valve slightly cracked. No ventilation just a fan circulating, I've had it set up like this for a few days, and the plants seem fine but one of my fan leaves started to curl. Should I release large amounts periodically or keep it slowly releasing

Why? Is your closet air tight? so why put co2 in there. did you know that a plant uses less co2 that is found in a room of a house. as long as some one is breathing of course.

Well, I have my closet shut with a towel lining the bottom to keep heat in, and I wasn't sure if the plants are dropping the ppm level too low in such a confined space

you don't need co2 with that light, co2 is only helpful if photosynthesis is so high that ambient co2 level can't support it, that's only possible under very high amounts of light.
Totally not needed, and in fact dangerous, if that leaks into your room, you may not wake up next time you go to sleep.
Co2 is dangerous, you can asphyxiate.

Why are you using CO2?

turn it off before you kill yourself. if you want to play with the co2 you can make dry ice with it.

Oh nice! I read that plants will grow twice as fast and have like a 30% better yield with co2 ppm at 1500 so I figured id take a gamble haha. I took the co2 tank out right away! Thank you

Cracking a high pressure cylinder of any gas, even an 800 psi CO2 cylinder, is not safe. You definitely need a regulator to start down this road safely. Plus what was said above.

All human made stuff is harmful... don't worry about it

You only need CO2 once you are pushing the plants envelope. So until you read VPD charts leave CO2 alone.
