Is it true the more trich's, the more potent?

I have a couple different strands growing and 1 of them is covered with tric's, the other kind is not. Both kinds are strong. But is it true that the more tric's you have the more potent the plant? I was just wondering why some would have so much more than others. Thought maybe I was doin something wrong with the ones that don't have alot.

yes and no.

if you have one plant, then yes, if you double the amount of trics on that plant, it's potency will increase.

but plant A is not necessarily more potent than plant B simply because it has more trics than plant B does.
