Common sense tells me no .So I just read an article in skunk magazine that claims pot plants grow bigger buds when you flower with your lights 6 hours on 18 hours off.
Can anyone back this up? If its true or even if the flowering rate is the same it would save a lot of electricity.

Skunk magazine should be put out of business for printing garbage grow theories such as that , new growers have enough problems without having them fuck up their proven lighting routine .
There aren't any tricks with lighting or nutrients to growing better buds , a firm understanding of basic grow principles & grow enviroment will pay off dividends , tricks in growing pot allways fail , stick with time tested & proven methods .
Im glad im not the only one that reads skunk magazine because I thought that article was very odd. I may give it a try one day but im highly doubtful.
i usually take things said in skunk with a much higher regard than things said in high, err, i mean, medicated times, the worst of the worst when it comes to facts, but saying that, any publication can get it wrong from time to time.
i'm not saying this theory is wrong as i've never personally tried it, nor seen anyone who has..
