no its not to late to start but u cant lst as much now just do a lil bit of it. check out my lst thread below

but its a desiel ryder. automatic strain. Does that matter?

no friend. the only thing about lst is that you cant do as much the longer you wait. if you start early on, you can shape the damn thing into whatever shape you want. if you wait til flower or later, your looking at being able to do much less without it turning int HST, basically pulling some branches down to allow some light in, but not really shaping it anymore, just increasing its girth to allow more light penetration.

do it NOW. in flowering, plant stems get woody, and aren't as flexible as they are veg

im just gonna pull the lower branches down so that they can spread out and get some light.

yes they are small. But mine is so bushy that there is no light getting to the smaller buds
