Can’t worry about that until it’s cut healthy, then dried without problems and finally cured. Lots can happen.

Looks like some mold in the 2nd to last pic, check them girls. They look beautiful but don't have that finished amber look to them yet
where those caterpillars poop turns into mold. Be sure to clean out all the cat poop.

That's what I would do, clean sissor or clipper and just cut out the mold for now. Keep an eye on it all of a sudden it could explode.
