I am growing one plant. I am using a 65 watt Plant light about 8 inches away directly on the area my seed is in. Is this light powerful enough to start with?

sorry, but no. It might sprout but you will need alot more light.

you don't need any direct light to sprout a seed,,but after it comes up,,yur gonna want to up that 65 watt lighting sysytem bro

I used a 75 watt, and grew some good bud, your doing good, but try 6 inches above.
