is it ready

ok i now this is such a common question that I feel bad asking it but i wanted to get some other opinions. I'm coming to the end of a grow and I just wanted to see what the experts think about this plant and if it ready to be cut down. It was grown from bag seed in a pretty ghetto cfl setup if i say so myself, not much room in a cardboard box with a lot of light 8 cfl's(about 150 watts) in about a 1 cubic foot box. with a pretty hefty intake exhaust system to get rid of heat and some shitty MG blossom booster fertilzer, but with all that said it has done pretty well. I feel that it has about 2 weeks left so i have given it it's last dose of nutes but i just wanted to get a better opinion. smoke on MVG

Get a pocket microscope so you can see the trichomes - they are the indicator of "doneness". Most strains trichomes start out a little red/brown or clear. When they start getting cloudy or opaque it is time to harvest.

yea i just ordered a pocket microscope it should be here in about 2 days so we will see i was just wondering what some people think, maybe just tryin to show off what i have done a litttle too, but thanks for the complement. aslo what is the difference when you harvest when trics are cloudy or more of any amber? just a different high or what?

good question - i haven't done much experimenting because i tend to get impatient and have a bad habit of early harvesting. so i'll have to share what i read. It is my understanding that if you harvest early, the high will be more sativa-like - that is up, energetic - more cerebral. Late (or properly timed) harvests tend to be more couch-lock/ body type highs.

hopefully some others with real-world experience will correct me if i'm mistaken.
