Is it possible to have a strain that doesnt like to be topped?

so my question is this......is it possible to have a strain of cannabis that does'nt respond well to topping? The second part of my question is...... is it also possible to have a strain that only responds well to topping if you also LST them. I understand the bud threshhold and topping can result in smaller cola's but I have never heard of a strain that doesnt like to be topped. I ask these questions b-cuz i have a strain with these problems.

i dont top but looking at the different shaped plants i get with different strains i would say yes some like it more than others.

There are so many choices out there today as far as genetics go and nothing would surprise me. If I heard that there was a strain thast died when you try to LST it, I wouldn't be shocked. It is a brave new world out there and you have to find what works for you consistently.
