Yes it is.
Put the plant back to 18/6 and it will eventually go back into veg mode. It may take a bit of time as it will go into a bit of shock at first because technically it should be dead

Of course you have to put the plant back in veg cycle and start the cycle all over again. It can be done. Thats how people keep their mothers.
If you have a favourite strain then why not.
I have put about 5 or 6 of mine back into veg stage and am going to try and grow them outside this year. They already have nice thick stalks on them.

I can't recall NOT going for a second harvest. Probably the kindest, least invasive thing to do is cut all but the lowest branch(es) off the main branch before butchering the plant for buds (one or two main cuts instead of multiple amount)
Be sure to add N when you return to 18/6 or 24/24 for best (fastest) result.
