is it ok take a clone off a plant that is flowering?

sure but it will take longer to root

You sure can. The later the plant is in flowering stage, the harder it will be to root the clone and revert it back to veg state. I try not to go past 3 weeks in flower if I have to take one. I try to be done taking clones at least 2 weeks before going into flower.

aye the further into flower the plant is the more touchy the clone is.

more humidity less light more breeze lower temp

How far into flowering would the plant start to show its sex,
It would be nice to clone it after you knew for sure it was female.
