Is it ok to sample your plant while its growing?

Absolutely. Cooks constantly taste what they are cooking as they cook. Programers constantly debug before releasing an app.

What better way than know what is going on than to try some?

Yep! Just dry it first. I suggest just letting it dry naturally, then test it... Which means you have to wait a few days before testing the sample. Of course, you can do the different quick drying techniques, but most of the time they ruin the test sample (inaccurate smell, taste, feeling).

When is the earliest you could snip some buds and get a reasonable idea of finished product?

Not to early. I usually sample when I think its ready to be chopped.

Id say no earlier that 7-8 weeks of flowering.

really it just depends on the maturity of the plant, you be the judge.

wouldnt you want to wait till your in the flushing stage so you get the taste of the bud not the nutes
