Is it normal to have a leaf with 3 pedals?

Hey dude,
I'm not an expert. That being said, during my first grow of 7 plants I did have the occasional 3 - 5 petaled leaves, I do believe having four petals is considered a bad mutation, possibly hermaphrodite or male?

Yer dude its perfectly normal, many reasons for this too happen and you'll certainly see a lot more of them after a few more grows. Plant looks healthy and is not deficient or pH or hermie. Peace

Yer same too and new shoots also like this sometimes. Happens in flowering too where leaf blades decrease in number and perfectly natural. Peace
I've seen odd numbered of leaves in alot of plants, its normal...you'll be fine..just keep growin
Are not all weed leaf blades in an odd number i.e. 1,3,5,7,9 and sometimes 11?

Maybe i was just being polite, which member was that please?
I rep for a lot of reasons, reb new growers for getting it wrong but trying to contribute, rep people for good answers and making me laugh, repetitivly rep members who get involved in trying to help or who try to be part of a site. Rep for a lot of other reasons but mainly constructivly, some new members might not feel like saying much on a low rep bar so i rep them hoping they will get more confident.
I wouldnt feel like i need to rep you though but should i see you again and remember the avatar i would probably rep you because we had this conversation and you were contributing somthing.

also, i have one plant right now, that battled with fungus very early on (from seedling) and its ok now, but it has a 1 leaf, 2, 3, 4, 5, and now the new growth is finally doing 7 leafed stuff. i left the retarded leaves on there as a testament to how resilient the plants are. they happen, for a number of reasons. make sure pH, heat, nutrients are right, and theres a lack of bad stuff (fungus/rot/mold/bugs) and let time do the rest.
heres a pic, you can see where it branches into 2 stems, that happened by itself, and in the middle is the wierd ass 1 leaf, to the right is the 2 leaf'ed one, to the left is the wierd ass 4 leafed one....

That plant lost its 'Apical Dominance' either bad genetics or light too hot and close or you forced it to be weakened by bad practises. The leaves are also a result of bad grow practises and not normal unfortunatly. Looks better now. Peace

I didnt ask a question but might have phrased it that way cause as soon as you say all leaves have odd numbers of leaflets some one will undoubtedly name a strain that works on an even number basis. Of course all marijuana leaves are normally and uniformlly odd numbered.
The fact that i repped someone was purely for his academical input wether he be right or wrong. Now had you been some sexy little ganga growing chick and i knew where the Mitten was we could meet up and disagree somemore but unfortunatly this is a highly unlikely scenario so how about you just post some pics of your plants and lets talk weed.
