:joint:Smokin' a blunt the other day and had a thought. . . Is it a good idea to harvest buds as they become ready individually? From what I've read, you want the trichs about 50/50, right? My thought came from my okra garden. you harvest the okra pods when they are about 3"-4" long so they wont be to stringy or tough. Some pods are ready one day, and others might take another day or two before they're ready. Now, i know okra and weed are two COMPLETLY different plants but i was wondering if this was a good idea for marijuana harvesting? (Not going by the length, but the trichs for any of you smartasses! ) ;-) So yall please let me know what the deal is or if I'm missing any of the little details that you proffesional growers know about! Happy Growing and Smoking!

Turkish, I do it this way all the time...I only grow between 2 an 8 plants at any one time so i need every bud ready at the right time. Whats the point in cutting a whole plant down if the top half is the only bit ripe for the pick'n.

It does work very well if you only have a couple of plants, if however you have 10 plus plants it could become a major time wasting hastle allbeit for a good cause.

Peace
