is it cured?

i clipped the buds and hung them upside down to dry for 5 days. and in an airtight jar for 5 days. i let the air escape every so often. but the buds look good and ready. any sure way to tell other than smoking it?

Usually it takes about 7 days of hanging in dark with a fan in the room then at least 2 weeks of jar curing but a month is best if not longer.You open the jar 2 times aday for 15-30 minutes.Yoiu will know when you can snap the stem and it snaps loudly and doesnt bend or seem moist and just bend.The smell will be pungent when cured and not that hay type smell...FilthyFletch
