Is HPS good?

I can get my hands on a 70 watt Ballast and ignitor and a 70 watt son-T HPS Bulb.

Will that produce enough light to grow a good yield with a couple of plants?

Can it be used to veg well? If not , i have a couple of CFLs for vegging.

it'd work for a couple plants... with some cfls could get a couple zips =]

maybe do a small scrog or something since it won't have the best light penetration...

What about 125 watts HPS. Would that do good for a couple of plants?

if you have a small closet,,get a 430 watt son T agro hps,,when I say small,,I mean 2 feet by 4 feet by 7-8 high,,with full mylar,,and a lil venting,,you could have 2-3 four footers,,if your in a cupboard or something,,then your gonna get small yield anyway,,so the lighting you speak of would do for a smaller space,,good luck on your grow
