I don't get what is so funny.

You can try some "off the beaten path" health food stores. Try your local health food stores, not name brand ones like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. The smaller companies are the ones that keep that kind of stuff.
because its just hydrogen peroxide and you can buy it from a supermarket in lesser concentrations. just do the math and buy regular hydrogen peroxide to get the amounts you need. its not like its needed anyways. its supposed to bring oxygen to the roots an disinfect while it only disinfects mildly and most of the oxygen molecules that are released and are available to the roots are not even beneficial. O and O2 are very different and most of the H2O2 breaks down into H2 O O. so its really only effective against algae growth in res's. but dont let science prove some growers wrong...

It is on the fedearl registry of listed chemicals. The list is based on chemical and such commonly used in the illicit manfacturing of drugs. It also conatins such items as draino. (sodium hydroxide) toulene (enamel and epoxy cleaner). coleman lanterne fuel, match books, kiit loitter, acetone, pseudophed decongetsants, methanol (alcohol), lithium batteries and many other common items.

Alledgedly it is used as a manner to prevent the chemicals from getting into the wrong hands. More often then not it is just used to obtain search warrants. The local police tell the retailers to sell the products to suspiscous people but obtain an ID and notify them after te sells are made. The way it is supposed to work is if they look or sound suspicous no sell is supposed to be made by the retailers. Then they also must maintain a record of the sells over a certain set amount to per sall to each person beacause the law requires a permit to purchase over a preset amount per purchase or per month.

Retailers typically do not follow the law/regulations but instead cooperate with the illegal requests of the police. An example is that there is no requirement on producing ID for purcahses of up to 9 grams of pseudophed. That's 300 tablets. Most stores only sell boxes of 24 or less and tell people the law requires a record of all sells. That is a flat out lie. They are merely illegally coopoerating with local law enforcement that obviously always breaks all the rules. The DEA is presently trying to get didd fferent bran\ds of nutrients added to the listed chemical registry. ie Canna, GH, and AN.

Ok you cant find super potent h2o2 is because it fucking unstable. I was used by the nazis as rocket fuel and as a fuel for a submarine design that changed the world

i am guessing if you took 35% h2o2 and 195 proof ever clear mixed and lit on fire you might loose limbs i know if you used 95% h2o2 and 97% ethanol you can send a v2 across the english channel. or set yoruself on fire....

It can not be shipped by air on commercial airliners, so it is trucked or sent by non passenger carriers ie UPS or Fedex. It can not legally be sent by USPS. That applies however to many things but people tend to ignore some of the regualtions put into effect during the hysteria right after 911 that brought on a barrage of new shipping regulations. You need a permo it to ship neraly anything on a commercial airline anymore if you do not accompany the shipment. Live animals and plants are about all that can be shippied by the airlines anymore without huge amounts of hassle. It is really surprising that the USPS can ship any parcels by commercial carrier planes. Like the U.S. Postal service can afford their own planes at less than a dollar to mail a letter.

Try any farm supply store or a hair dresser.

The alleged terrorist just arrested in Colorado bought H2O2 to construct bombs.

If you buy any quantity I imagine you will throw up a red flag for law enforcement.

I use the 3% in my Deep water and Ebb and Flow tanks for every grow with great results, and never a problem.

Just use chlorine. there really is no bets choice between H2O2 and chlorine. Both are oxidizers. H2O2 is a very strong oxidizer and is often used more improperly than chlorine, which some people seem afraid to use. That is really strange thosgh as most growers do not use it at levels as high as what is used by water treatment plants for tap water. Go figure.

Hey PJ, this type contains stabilizers like the kind I've been using from the store. Do you know if those are harmful at all to the plant or roots? I never knew there was a food grade peroxide without the stabilizer before. I use it occasionally to switch up fungus gnat treatments from Gnatrol so they don't get too used to one treatment method.

I don't see any stabilizers in the 34% stuff. I actually don't buy from these guys, I get the 35% stuff by the gallon from my local hydro store for around $25/bottle. I just happened to get the email from Lab Alley this morning, so figured I'd pass it along.

It's a heck of a lot cheaper than 3 bucks for the little bottle of 3% I've been using from Walmart and CVS. It would be nice to have in a stronger ratio sometimes too for sanitizing stuff like pots and tools. Thanks.
