a newbie with an outdoor medical NL #5 x Skunk from Medical Marijuana Seeds Company. Would frost be bad for this lady? And how much longer do you think before it is time to cut her down.?

frost is bad. looks like you have a problem. you need more time but mother nature is ready for the cold.

they can last for a little while in the frost but not long im might have to harvest early because its getting cold

This is the truth.Plants will not survive a hard frost(29 degrees and below) for any duration.Above that (light frost) for a few hours at most.You plant will wilt under a hard frost.If that happens,harvest...you are done.gl

You could always cover them over in the evening & uncover them in the morning. This will extend your time a little.

i had to cover mine last night...I just uncovered mine this morning...with no ill effects...I will be harvesting within a week or two...

Where I live it sometimes snows before Halloween let alone just frost, so my girls have to see some frost. Rather they didn't, but such is life.

My temperatures last few night is in the 20's 27,28,29 I have come out to the plants wilted and iced over and had them thaw and perk up by 10.

I imagine its more of a problem when it gets till the final weeks of flowering.

But seriously it sucks,all my strains are purple now.if it doesn't freeze solid i will just build a green house next year

cover with a clear garbage bag and take off everyday if ucan
looks like at least 2 weeks
what breeder for the nl5xhaze?

Hey bro looking really good got some nice budding spots, should get a fat bag out of that, frost isn't recomended but you should be fine as it looks like you only have 2-3 weeks left max. I know some people in cananda that have outdoor grows EVEN when it's snowing, with not ill effects, all depends on what strain you have and if the genegtics are strong. Good luck!
