Is FIM'ing in week1 of flower a bad idea?

I have some plants outdoors, and i FIMM'ed all the main branches on one of them.
Within a few days after i did it, i started noticing hairs showing on all of the plants.

So basically, i FIM'ed it right before it started flowering..

Is this bad? Will it diminish my yield? What will happen?
Have any of you done this before?

Please, any info is greatly appreciated!

there's a guy called Mr Green on youtube he tops his plants in their first week to get a 2 headed bud so u should be fine

Most plant pruning is done in vegetation and then given a rest period prior to flowering. Some do prune in the first week of flowering but unwise. When the photoperiod switches the first three weeks are for the growth spurt and for the beginning of bud production. Pruning in flowering state might disrupt the aforemention occurence.
 
Yes i know that its typically done in veg, this is why im asking. Because it WAS in veg when i did it - i just didnt realize it was about to start flowering so quickly afterwards.
 
i have done that before turned out good on the plant that stretched alot during the beginning of flowering but not so good on the one that has very little stretch during flowering
 
I should've known better.
Because they had already started stretching when i FIMMed the main branches..
They just hadnt shown any other signs like hairs. So i figured i had enough time.

So far the 2 heads that came from FIMMing are barely formed, without its own branch yet.
So im just hoping it still has enough time to stretch out and form a good bud on it (er, them).
I guess we'll see..
