is fan necessary in aerogarden?

I think it helps promote strong stalks, moving air around, and controlling temps. But you might be able to get away without it.

it also helps prevent mold and helps move stagnant air away from your plants.
stale nasty moist air hanging around your plants is never good

You might not have enough room for a big fan but some kind of fan will fit anywhere. How about a little 12 volt PC fan, whatever size will fit, running off a wall wart?
