is canada safer

do you think it is safer to get seeds from canada shipped to the us then to get seeds from the dutch area. i would think that customs would be more concerned of packages coming from europe then canada

No, don't order from Canadian seed banks. When Americans start ordering from our banks, your customs and lawmaking officials try to flex rubber arms.
Thus creating a much unneeded ripple effect within our system. The last time this happened, they raided a seed shop in Montreal, took all of the information of clients, cc numbers, banking information... EVERYTHING.

Stick to European seed banks, it is safer for us all.

just drive up, buy the seeds and drive back.. easy to smuggle across the border
