is a ventalation system needed

i am growing 2 plants in my closet just about 5 inches tall both

i have a fan going in there and im just wondering if thats all i need or if i should put a ventalation system in there

i dont have the fantist clue how to

so can u help me

it would be veary much appreciated

Heat will retard your plant.

Ventillation will keep heat down and introduce fresh CO2 rich air for her to grow.

Read up big time in GrowFAQ.

size of grow room ?

what lights are you using ?

what is the temp of your room, lights on & off ?

yes you will need intake and exhaust for a good grow.....lol

24 width and like 34 for lenth im using 3 flouresent lights 1 tube and 2 pig tale ones

i dont know the temp but ill get on it

its pretty humid and warm

but i do have a fan

the only way you can get away without ventalation is if you have an air conditioning unit in the closet and a constant supply of co2!

otherwise, yeah

leave the closet door open

that'll be *adequate*

well, cut a hole into the back for a fan you buy at walmart or home depot, that fan should be capabel to extract the volume of your grow with in 15 sec, so about 4times the volume of your grow per min. hock that fan up to a dimmer switch and let it run on low to mid to cut noise. either pump the exhaust to the attic or straight into your room. i would recommend to place a carbon filter in between anyway, after week 3 in veg the start to stink and that increases in strength till full flower to unbeatable stink you want to have that filtered for sure

cut a hole in the back of my closet, couldnt do that


but i do have fan blowing in the direction of the plants but its pointing at the wall
