Is 430w enough for 4 plants?

I am just doing 4 plants in a 4x4 or maybe 4x5 area and I do not want alot of heat and I am low on funds. I am thinking a 430w HPS and maybe get an air cooled reflector to cut down on the heat on my babies.

I think that might be enough for my area. Its a small shed that I am plywooding and mylaring up and gonna keep the plants in that area and have them nicely exposed, just will that light get it done for me? Right now I got 4 plants under a few CFLs until I get confirmation.

a 430w hps will do you grand!use it throughout veg and flower for thick kolas!and for sure get the air cooled reflector cos heat'll build up for sure!
peace

If you only want to flower 4 plants and use no more than a 430w you should cut your room to a 3x3 so you can maximize the potential of the light.

so would it be better to go 400w or 430w?

and for 4 plants with no more than 30sq ft that should be about right?

good deal. So with my 4x4 area (roughly), 4 plants and 1 400w HPS air-cooled lamp setup ($300) what kind of yield should I get?

I have 2 White Diesel, 1 Super Silver Haze and 1 Big Buddha Cheese

I am doing a soil grow in a small shed that will be ventilated, etc etc.

With a 400 you dont want to veg for to long dont want them to git to tall. Yield is a strange thing it Varese from plant to plant and grower to grower. Good luck man.

so whats a usual good vegging time? I've had them under a set of CFLs, 1 3,900 lumen and then a 1,600 for about 4 weeks now, maybe 3.
