Is 3000 watts too much light on a 4×8 ft flood and drain.

I have a 4×8 ft flood and drain table that I put 3000 watts on it.I am looking for anyone that has put that much light on one table and there experiences with it.

That amounts to about 93.75 watts per square foot. With temps/humidity/airflow in check...that sounds like nothing but optimal lighting to me!

Huge yields!! But what do I know, I'm still a novice, not really speaking from experience. ;-)
 
i use a 1k in a 4x8 room 8 site RDWC.. i wish i could split it into 2 600w lights just because.

i think 2x 1k would be more than enough but i dont want to say for sure if 3k is overkill as canabis is a light whore.

Me too 3rd time and so far temps are 68-78 and humidity is 50-60%. Huge yields is the goal. Here's some pics from week 5.

As long as you are keeping proper temps, and not toasting the ladies, there is no such thing as too much light. More properly administered light = more yield. Good luck. :peace: & be kind.
