Is 1 gal of 50ppm water the same as 2 gal of 25 ppm water? (in DTW system)

Does anybody know whether in a drain-to-waste coco system, feeding plants 1 gallon of 50ppm solution equivalent to feeding 2 gallons of 25ppm solution?

I have a system that mixes nutes at a set concentration at the correct PPM and pH, but it a PITA to adjust, but adjusting the amount of solution the plants get is as easy as turning a knob.

Right now the system is set at ~600ppm, and the plants get 2 seconds of water from a mister nozzle every 10 minutes. If I increase the frequency of the feedings to 2 seconds of water every 5 minutes, will it effectively double the amount of nutes the plants receive?

Thanks in advance! I haven't been able to find anyone who has experimented with this or has any relevant advice :(

No it won't.. The ppm is just the the particles per million in any amount of water.. So no, your plants won't be getting more ppm. Just more frequent watering.

If that's a good thing or not, it depends on what method you are running.
