iridescent lights

2 Answers, Technically yes, but if you add the word good to the end of your question-No, those are heat lamps, right? Cmh,Hps,CFL,MH, Flouro tubes, Leds. Those are your options. Plasma is supposedly the wave of the future but right now good luck finding one under 1.5-2k.

First of all any heat bulb is like your worst possible bulb. Its doesnt put out very much usable light, and to make things worse its adding extra heat ( one factor that youll deff have to deal with at some point in time) pretty much worthless if you ask me.
Spend a couple bucks on some CFL's. There cheap, good lighting with low heat.

Cmh - ceramic metal halide lamp.
Its a type of metal halide made to run cooler and I believe last longer than standard MH lamps

sorry it took so long to get back to you, but uv bulbs are useful during flower. I dont know if youve got the right kind, but the right kind will increase thc and resin production. Thats the main reason they are there-to block harmful uv rays and we all know what happens if you break something down like that.....just like our muscles get stronger after recovering from being broken down by exercise.
