riu has/had a chat channel. It wasn't very good And the 4 or 5 people who were there were far to cool for school. I won't join your irc chat channel because you couldn't handle france. Enjoy playing lords mind you.

I'm talking about a new one managed by some good members/staff. I didn't want to make a new one so I bumped this.
Either way an irc channel would be better than the current chat box.

I disagree. Think it would be dominated by the riu big personalities and end up as 3 squadron again. this way everyone plays on an even playing field.

I'm not really going to push for this. I just feel from experience with other forums and irc channels that it could be beneficial.
Also you will always have the local crowd. As long as you don't make a total ass of yourself I would expect your stay to be alright.

that was the fucking thing with the old shit channel. cool people who would stare there all all day long for months when people finally eventually turned up to chat/consult/and share the cool people response was to say something like "no". was worse than taking a vacation to Amsterdam on your lonely.
