It's not that bad in Iowa City- think of it as an oasis among all the corn (and pigs).

iowa city rocks....its full of pretty girls and rockin bands.

Definitely! Downtown Iowa City has bands come in pretty frequently, both for the community and UIowa. Haven't caught a show in a while though. Typically on Friday nights you stand on one of the Ped Bridges over the river and listen to all of the house bands playing around campus, beats echoing everywhere.
Pretty girls- yes.
