What does a good 5-10 acres cost in land in the emerald triangle. Would like to invest in some property for future outdoor medical grows. Anyone else invest in land for growing medical cannibus?

My god I wish. Humbolt county which is a fairly lax county when it comes to marijuana has a limit of 3lbs per person utilizing a 10x10 maximum canopy. Either 1 grow outdoors per year or 3 grows indoors per year.

There is no way you are going to pay for a 5-10 acre piece of prime growing land with lax neighbors (it's a tight knit community up there) growing legally. This area has quite a bit of fly overs and the DEA and CAMP do crawl all over the hills during harvest time.

even if its legal? Would they really mess with maybe a 10 plant garden with a few doctor recs.
Most California counties have a limit of 3 person cooperatives and 3 maximum patients per caregiver - not to mention a caregiver must give care on a regular basis in ways other than just MMJ. They will not mess with a 10 plant garden but that will not take care of land and equipment costs. Not all that easy to find a 15 acre secluded piece of land with proper light exposure and water for cheap either.

I would suggest a bit south of the triangle where property is cheaper and the locals less organized.

you can get 10 acres for as little as 60k if you can find a way to live out there in the sticks...

craigslist it if you like...

there is always someone willing to sell if you've got the cheddar...

but going down the line a bit, i'm betting that anywhere you can grow veggies you'll be able to grow top of the line green once the leo's stop jailing folks for a little plant...

i mean when was the last time you saw someone go to jail over a tomato plant?

or perhaps for having too much aspirin???

mendo is just as good, as is trinity, eugene oregon or south amboy new jersey...

you won't have to go all the way to ukiah to get some land worth growing on, where you're at will be just fine *unless you live on a boat or in the desert*... just sayin...

A family in California grew 6,200 pounds of produce on a 1/4 acre all organic. You could grow your little plot of Cannabis and then get to work producing 120 tons of food to sell.
