introducing fertilizer

Hi guys, my question is, is there a given rule for how long u should use 1/4 strength, 1/2 and so on? Thanks

Not so far as I have seen, and i haven't seen a whole lot truthfully.

the rule of thumb is whatever your ladies can handle.
dial up every watering or every week...doesn't seem to matter much.
Every plant is different in it's personal requirements and temperament though...even if they are clones.

once you notice burn, dial back two steps, and it'll be smooth sailing.

Thanks mate, my seedlings have been on 1/4 strength for two weeks no with no ill effect so time to up the dose then!

i note that the Elder Growers tend to dial up slowly.
1/4 to 1/2 strength is to much at one go for example.

hopefully, someone who actually knows what they are talking about will chime in soon.
Halp!

...there seems to be a divide over whether to feed at every watering, or feed, water, feed, water...or some other combination thereof...i'm not sure yet

good luck to you!

i have gone a full grow in hydro on formulex at 2ml/ltr the ec never went above 650 micro siemens (0.65EC), and i was getting > 2oz off an 18 inch plant. ionic reccomend a dose rate of i think 10ml / ltr. manufacturers want to to use up your nutes quick so they make more money.

I use organic ferts every watering. My yeilds have increased substantially. The most important things is NOT to start ferts until a seedling is HEALTHY and established. Then I ramp up week to week......

with ferts less is more , at least when starting... about 1/2 -1/3 recommended strength...

if no burn then increase (with chem) with organics its a bit harder to burn... not impossible though...

anyway what type of ferts are you using?

and as far as watering... it depends... but about 1-2 times a week is the rule of thumb..

anything else feel free to ask...
best of luck
