i have always seen on like grow videos that this was the rating for lights

halogen=horrible
incandescant=bad
flourescent=alright
compact flourescent=good
metal halide for veg and hps for flowering=really good
metal halide and hps for both veg and flowering= the best

so the 2700k light and the 6500k light combined are for the best grow possible. do you think using a 2700k and 6500k cfl setup for veging and flower would work the best for cfl growing? i was like thinkin about it and it kinda makes sense. any experts wanna inform me about it? thanks in advance guys:weed::weed::weed::weed::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Yeah a lot of people growing with CFL's use both the whole way through, it would seem to be the way to go.:peace:

i have 2 seperate grow cabs. one for veg and one for flower. and i got like 8 bulbs of each spectrum. each 23 watters. so i just but 4 with 4 in each cab right? sorry about the dumb/obvious question i just really want to do this right

thanks dude. oh one other thing if i have the y adapters with the screw in adapters that you plug into the power cord for the wiring. should i arange the bulbs so that 2700k are on one side and 6500k are on the other. like one side would be 6500k-6500k-6500k-6500k. and the other side would be 2700k-2700k-2700k-2700k. or should i put it in a zig zag like the left side going down the power strip would be 6500k-2700k-6500k-2700k. then the other side would be 2700k-6500k-2700k-6500k. i think the second option would distrubute both spectrums evenly but does it really even matter? sorry about the long winded reply i really just tried to make it visual so you could understand/answer better. but thanks dude.

Oh I can be as much of an arsehole as the next man when I'm not stoned...you caught me at a good time.;-):peace:
