Intaking winter air HELP!

Im considering intaking winter air on a thermostat/damper to keep 3k cool in a 6x13x7.5. Would this cause issues if done properly? I originally setup my Lights to intake cold air from outside and found out condensation was going to be an issue. Considering running no glass in the reflectors and help cool the room with cold air or insulating the duct run in hopes of fixing the condensation. Gonna be pushing it running 3k in this room

Okay you can’t bring the air straight into your room without condensation falling out. For instance the front room of my building is insulated but not heated. So i intake from that room, the cold air pulls into that room mixes with somewhat warmer air than outside and then into the room. No condensation.

Of course if your climate is more mild it might not be an issue but we are below freezing all winter where I am.

If you don’t have somewhere else to pull air from and it must go straight into the room your gonna wanna make sure to have no plants under it and maybe angle it down into a bucket if possible. Insulate the ducting and if using a fan the fan as well. Water will build up on ducting and fan if not insulated.

Use larger ducting and slide a tube heater In side, one can adjust temp, I would use the 2ft one, this will increase the temperature of intake air, easy and simple

I have not done it myself, but I have read this is a quick fix a few years back on grow forums

Some grower use the tube heater on a timer (light out) and others say it brings up the intake fans temps up so it's less shock on the plants, also help with humidity.

Tried it, didn’t work. Bought a 15000btu window air conditioner.
Do you ever have problems when it's below freezing outside? I have a lg 15000btu, and the blower and fan stops working, but if it gets above 32 outside, I'm gold. I'm glad to read this thread as I was thinking of using outdoor intake
