Just set up a panda film room, with what lumber I have for now. It's sealed with 1 6" passive intake running from outside (through a window) and 1 outtake 6" with an inline fan attached
Problem is that when I turn the duct fan on the negative pressure is too much for my room and is sucking the walls Wayyy too much Inwards.
Now I do plan on getting a speed controlled to dial the speed down and also re frame the room up too later on.

Should I put my fan in my intake vent to pull air in and just have a 6" passive outtake hole ?? Or should I just have both intake and outtake passive?

Standard practice is to leave the inlet passive( as in no fan for inlet) that way all dust, particulates, stinks, etc etc. is sucked out of the room, and keeps the noise down

So should I just keep the outtake passive as well? Like I mentioned their is no way I can run my inline for now(till I can redo my room so it won't get sucked in as much. And this won't be for another few weeks till I can take care of it

Until you resolve this issue, I would run it intermittently, with a view to attaching a speed control unit,
tho you haven't mentioned the size of the room, which would be a deal breaker!

Yeah I'd stick with a passive inlet and 6 inch active outlet, you can monitor the temps, at your hottest time of the day!

My temps with the room closed and no outtake fan running stay anywhere from 71-78f. Would it be okay to keep it running like this without an active outtake? Really the only outtake is where my inline fan is installed and ths air escapes inbetween the blades and shit. Well i am doing what was suggested: running the inline fan intermentely throughout the day, i try to run it 3 times a day for about an 1-2 hours each time, just to exaust the spent air.
Im bring in loads of fresh air via my intake but is my outtake is lacking, i mean my temps dont get too high im just concened about the spend air not getting exausted quick enough, is this going to be a problem, or im just trippin for nothing? My plants seem happy though ⚠
