Hi I currently have everything figured out besides venting the hot air. I am growing in a closet with no option for venting into the attic because people live above me. i have been thinking of running an expandable duct directly into holes i would cut in the door. is this possible?

oh btw i have a 400watt hps/mh-conv light and the closet is 3ft wide x 4 feet deep x 8 feet in height

If you are renting, I would suggest replacing the door with your own wood.

Placing the intake at the bottom and the exhaust at the top is all good, just make sure your intake isn't bringing in the warm air from the out take ;)

i would run some flex hose like dryervent hose so your intake and exhaost are on opposite sides of the room so your pulling air accross your plants ...
and yea replace dor with yourown and i assum you will have a carbon scrubber jawn hooked up so your neighbors dnt rob you
