intake and exhaust fans are sooo loud!

what should i do? my neighbor literally lives on the other side of the wall of the closet because i live in a apartment?? what do i do

short of that, grow in a box (or 'cab') and insulate your ventilation setup. insulated ducting helps tremendously. wrapping the whole fan in insulation or building a box around it are also options.

well its in a grow tent called "homebox" and then in a closet, I might just be paranoid because the walls are pretty thick and the fans are only 40 cc

those arent big fans, if its a big deal just get a box just big enough to fit it in and cut out holes on 2 sides for the hose or whatever, then fill it with foam of some sort.
