Untrue! I've had countless males that were as luch as any female I ever hoped to have... I use those in breeding projects for their robust bushiness... The way to tell is ONLY to wait about 8 weeks or so from sprouting and look around the 5th or 6th node and check for spade-like growths, or the beginnings of a male pre-flower, which will end up looking like a pod on the end of a little nob, sort of mushroomy, then u REALLY look for the tear-drop shaped growth which is the beginnings of the female calyx, which will shoot out a little "V" of white pistols, symbolizung it is sexually mature enough to be flowered... That is how... SO, unless u r breeding, which if u r new, I would disadvise strongly, you need to identify your males, and destroy them, a.s.a.p. -Also, your pics aren't even half-way close enough to the meristem or any inter-nodes for anyone to be able to tell anything about the preflowers which I'm sure are there now...judging by the age of the plants... Which btw, do look nice, with an indica-dominant gene pool, if not 100% indica... What strain r u growing? Put up some better pics, and u will get your sexing answers...
