ok i have a nice fat gurl out on my balcony and its almost time for her to start flowering, but i want to continue my operation in my closet. can i wait till i harvest her and just pluck off the buds and possibly keep her alive as a mother ? thanks any info greatly appreciated BTW wheres widowmaker, havent seen him around ina while

take clones.

Clones are the easiest way to go. That way each year you have a fresh batch. I don't know why people mess with a mother. Keep clones going. That way the line will never die out.

Maybe there would be a reason to keep a mother but I can't think of one over just cloning.

ok first when do i take the clones? before flowering starts,will affect the yeild of the plant?, second isnt it tru that if i keep a mother then the babies would all be 2nd generaation plants but if i keep taking clones of the same plant it will lose potency?

you could forse your plants to veg again but its no way worth it. im with the guys... take clones. i was to late on my first grow coz i was 3-4 weeks into flowering! and it was to late i was told!!!
