i just bought these 2 fans off the internet, i assumed they came ready to be plugged into the wall, but i was wrong of course. I dont know very much at all about this stuff so i was wondering what to do, there is 1 green wire(ground( white (neutral) and black (hot). i found this online but it doesnt make sense to me.

The motor of your In-Line Duct Fan™ may have 1 White and 1 Black wire or 2 Black wires.
If you have a motor with a White and Black wire, connect the White motor wire to the White
supply wire and the Black motor wire to the Black supply wire. If you have a motor with 2
black wires, connect either of the Black wires to the White supply wire and the other Black
wire to the Black supply wire.

thanks you for any help

you want to put a plug on it? the easy way for you would be to get a grounded extension cord and cut off the length you need ,strip the wires back 1 inch and twist corresponding wires together and put a wire nut on each one

ya all i want to do is get a plug on it so i can plug it into the wall, i have no idea what this 3 wire shit is man
