Inline Fan Decisions - Advice appreciated.

Hey everyone, its my first grow & im new to the indoor scene although im trying to make a decision between these 3 fans ive found, i just need some advice due to being quite limited with inline fans where i live.

So i found a few fans, some of the inlines i found cudnt push up to 300 Pa & they cost more than the better competitors i will show below.

I have My 600watt with my Super Sun 2 in a 3x3x6.5 & i might use a carbon filter although smell isnt a very big issue where im going to be staying.

Fans : All 6" & based on max Static Pressure ( Pa )

HIT Series Inline : 275 cfm at 0 Pa , 0 Cfm at 350 Pa ( 90 $ Fan : 70 $ Speed controller ) Confirmed the speed controller has 8 settings

Xpelair XID 150 : 360 CFM at 0 Pa , 0 Cfm at 300 Pa ( 150 $ Fan : 100 $ Speed controller ) Confirmed the speed controller has 5 settings

Ox tube fan 150 : 315 Cfm at 0 Pa , 0 Cfm at 348 Pa ( Price : 100 $ Fan : 40 $ Speed controller) Confirmed the speed controller has 3 settings.

From the specifications ive explained plz correct me if im wrong, i know the fans still operate at something like 0.0075 cfm at their max Pa although it is necessary to describe these figures ? I just described them at 0 cfm at max Pa or is max Pa and cfm all that matter ?

As for the Ox fan, i was wondering if its from the international supplier because i looked up the specs and all of them are identical except the RPM speed & Decibels. The rpm low setting is higher than the rpm on High setting but that might just be a writing error.

So which one would you peeps think is the best :) :?:

Advice will be appreciated, thank you all , much respect!

peace :peace: :)

More CFM is always better when it comes to setting up a ventilation system but in the case of a tent as small as yours its not gonna matter very much any of those centrifugal fans should be able to ventilate that tent very quickly even with a carbon filter installed...

Thanx psilocybindude & Muffy

I was considering the more cfm option but i just thought about the static pressures seeing as i am going to lose cfm but maybe i wont lose as much using one that can handle more static pressure.

From my basic knowledge which i could be completely wrong, i see them making up for each other with their diff static pressures and cfms.

Muffy thats another good thing to look at, i will definately be finding out the warranty's before purchase.

If you see the ox fan international spec sheet you'll see it was airflow(m3h) ratings, High is 533 m3h ( 315cfm ) , low is 400 m3h ( 235 cfm ) now there's another air flow rating that isnt on the air flow graph and it states 720 m3h ( 420 cfm ). Although i see now it states different voltage , frequency & capacitor.

Guess im going to struggle my ass off getting more specs from these guys.

Thank you again ! Peace !

With such a small tent man there is really no need to fret as long as you go with a fan that can move a decent bit of air you are not going to have problems, as far as the warranty goes i wouldn't be to concerned these fans have a very simple design and as long as they are well lubricated I'm pretty sure they will last for years and years.

Normally I'd say go with the biggest one, but if you're only using one 600 watt the 310 CFM will be just fine. Put the $50 to use elsewhere imo.

Once again thank you psilocybindude, i agree with what you saying end of the day for the price im paying compared to the other two its definately worth it & it should last as long as its well lubricated like you say :)

Thank you too kratos, finally made up my mind, will be going for the 310 cfm & using that extra cash where it will be needed ! peace and thanx !
