Inexspensive CO2 solutions?

Hey everyone, I just started some clones and they are going well, I have everything possibly imagined for them but CO2, I am stressing this fact because I know how much plants love CO2, just wondered if perhaps anybody had a good method to the sugar yeast water mixture or a way to constantly produce it in the greenroom? If so I would rather not buy a CO2 tank. Thanks for your advice

Hmm I have heard about the co2 thing but never really researched it. I would like to hear a little more about this also. If its somthing I may try can use the co2 tank from a paintball gun?

dont spray anything on your bud..only during veg...some yeast and sugar in a 2 liter bottle shaken daily will make co2..also your breath..

Sure. Get a treadmill, put it in your grow room. Have at it. lol!

I bet I'd produce sooo much c02 if I trained with the plants. No room though. Seems a bit sac religious, too. I don't want to get acclimated to the scent. Anyways, fresh air should be planty....hehe...plenty.

I'd just breathe on them every morning... And hang out in the room if you've gt enough activated carbon (or a LO strain).

I'm actually starting to wonder just how exersizing in the same room would affect c02 levels. I'm not the one that will try it, but scientifically, it seems logical that the continued recycle of c02-oxygen-c02 would cause better nourishment for both plant and human.

CO2 in air natural air is about 300ppm.
CO2 with 2 people in a room talking is ~ 600ppm.
Plants want 1200ppm optimum.

Cheap solution: Buy a propane torch from home depot or automotive store for $20. Propane refills are $2.95. 1 tank probably lasts 1-2 months. Just light the torch in the room a couple times a day.

Burning Propane= CO2 + Water Vapor

this is my $15.00 rig... i light the torch on very low setting for about 30 mins twice a day (morning and evening) and each $4.00 refill tank lasts me about 3 weeks, seems to work nicely were my space is small (closet)

when is the best time to give your plants co2? i would turn off the exhaust fan? do i also turn off the fan in the room? turn the torch on when the lights are on or off? does this really give results?

I think you do it one hour after the lights are off. Or is it one hour after they are on...

Sorry that wasn't much help, but I am 99% sure it is the first.

The fans stay on. Exhaust would technically stay on still, but there are many methods.
